Mikhail Alexandrovich Kaneev (1923-1983) was a Soviet artist who painted landscapes, cityscapes, and subjects from nature. However, he’s mainly known for his mastery of dramatic Russian cityscapes. This painting is called Kotelnichesky Bridge and was created in 1976. It depicts a view in Moscow of a famous, monumental building, the Kotelnichesky Embankment Building.
